What is TallyCart?
TallyCart is an Android app that helps you keep track of your grocery total in real time while you shop. You can scan shelf price tags, create checklists, and see your estimated total before checkout.
Does TallyCart work offline?
Yes. TallyCart is designed to work offline. You can scan prices, check off items, and calculate totals without an internet connection. Some optional features may require connectivity.
How accurate is the price scanning?
TallyCart uses OCR (optical character recognition) to read shelf price tags. While accuracy is high in most cases, prices may vary due to store changes, taxes, or promotions. Always confirm final prices at checkout.
Does TallyCart know store prices automatically?
No. TallyCart does not rely on store databases. Prices are captured directly from shelf tags you scan, making it useful even in stores without digital systems.
Do I need an account to use TallyCart?
No account is required to use the core features of TallyCart. Optional features such as cloud sync may require additional permissions.
Is TallyCart available on iOS?
Currently, TallyCart is available on Android devices only through Google Play.
Why might my total differ from the register?
